Clothing brand project

The goal of this project was to design a clothing brand with a focus on my interest in screen printing and environmental ethics. After extensive research into the causes and effects of the fast fashion industry, I created brand guidelines and three shirt designs that touched on points brought up within my final research essay.

I was inspired by both collage and screen printing techniques while creating these images, as well as taking inspiration from early evniromental campaigns.




I worked to create pieces that spoke to the topic of enviromental awareness by showing both nature and man-made materials. Being that this brand would be something personal and be produced on a smaller scale, I made the designs themselves with a limited color pallate, to use less silkscreens and ink per print.
